Warning: Once you`ve stayed a night at the OSOM Resort in Mykonos, you may not want to check out for the hotel. Read our hotel review, and you may not want to sleep in your own bed ever again.
Affordable chic
Back in October, we flew to Mykonos, one of the most beautiful Greek islands. This luxurious boutique hotel was home for us during our 3-night stay to celebrate Martina`s birthday. In fact, we both immediately fell in love with the hotel architectural minimalism.

OSOM RESORT MYKONOS LOCATION
OSOM resort, nestled at the crossroad of two sandy beaches (Korfos beach and Ornos beach) is truly the perfect place from where you may want to begin your adventures. The hotel`s name might also sound a bit awesome to English ears, but it is just a shortcut for The Other Side of Mykonos, as the hotel is situated just 2 km of the hustle of the popular town of Mykonos.
The resort with its tranquil environment is undoubtedly a perfect escape for a couple’s and families getaway. What`s more, the hotel is located only about 3 km from the airport.
OSOM RESORT
The resort with simple Cycladic lines and elegant design offers contemporary double rooms and also quite a few different kinds of suites. With 12 suites, an on-site-bar restaurant, a serene pool and a sun terrace with a stunning sea view of the Aegean, the hotel offers a peaceful experience. And you will never want to leave this place, indeed.
If you would love to explore the island, the hotel also offers car and bicycle rental services.
OSOM RESORT ROOMS
We were so lucky to be upgraded on our arrival to one of the most beautiful suites of OSOM resort. The finest Cycladic architecture of our suite was absolutely adorable, though. Our suite, with a chic and fresh contemporary design, with a lot of windows letting in tons of natural light, was also very spacious.

Besides, the rooms are modern, and each room has a patio for you to sit outside.

BREAKFAST
A complimentary breakfast with fresh juice is served by the pool. We developed a weakness for healthy and delicious breakfast food choices.
The hotel does not serve food for lunch and dinner, but the staff is more than welcome to help you to find a local restaurant that delivers. Otherwise, you can pop into one of many restaurants located in the town.
POOL
If you don`t fancy going to the beach, the pool area has a great design. However, don’t be surprised if you find a saltwater pool just to yourself, as most guests spend their day at the beach. Well, this is Mykonos, the party animal of the Cycladic islands! Bear in mind that the pool is not heated and you may also find it a bit chilli at the end of the season.

BEACHES
Depending on what type of beach you want, you are just a few minutes walk from 2 local beaches. Korfos beach, situated just 60 metres away from the resort, is a kite surfing and windsurfing natural paradise. However, there are no loungers or tavernas.
Ornos beach, located in a beautiful bay with amazing views only 1,5 km away from the resort, is famous for its lifestyle. This fine sand beach with umbrellas and sunbeds to rent, numerous wonderful beachfront restaurants, is the perfect beach, especially for families, young people and tourists. What`s more, daily boat service to other Mykonos beaches and excursion to the island of Delos are available from here. You can also find supermarkets, a bakery and a pharmacy nearby.
STAFF
Last but not least, exceptional hotel staffs were one of the biggest factors in making our stay memorable. They go above and beyond to really make you feel valued. With customer service always a top priority, after our stay, we were quite sad to leave, though.

OVERALL
If you are looking for a stunning boutique hotel away from Hora, the island`s capital, we can recommend the OSOM resort 100 %. For this reason, we would return anytime.
