The Caribbean is a massive archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. It’s located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland to the northern coast of South America, bounded on the west by Mexico and Central American states and facing out to the Atlantic on the east.

The Caribbean islands consist of 25 independent countries and other territories. Not all islands are the same; some offer a more cosmopolitan environment, while others are more affordable. Thousands of islands with breath-taking scenery await exploration; some islands are blessed with dramatic scenery and fine volcanic sand. The others are famous for their white-sand beaches and crystal-clear, turquoise waters.

Climate in the CaribbeanΒ 

All the Caribbean islands lie within the tropics and, therefore, its climate is tropical. With all-year-round temperatures and endless summer, the rainy season usually occurs between May and October. When it comes to a hurricane season, some islands are more vulnerable than the others. Hence, consider that when planning your much-need escape to the Caribbean. The hurricane season lasts from 1st June to 30th November, with a peak in September and October. However, a hurricane doesn’t affect all islands every year. What`s more, a hurricane hits islands on the south rarely.
